so i should have left well enough alone, but i was uninstalling 6.03 to install the good version(oct. release) the message pops up " installation source for this product is not available". cant install good version because it says another version in installed. any ideas would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

This happened to me as well. It uninstalled but it left itself in the programs list under "uninstall a program"

I really amn't sure how I fixed it. I think I left it there. Either that or did a complete reinstall.
There might be a way to remove that entry by going into the registry but I wouldn't have a clue on where to start with that.
Not much help to you, sorry, but at least you know you're not alone. I dont need a solution though since I've moved onto a new PC. Hope you get it sorted.

that's ok. i just did a system restore to a day before i started messing around. its working ok. but it still wont uninstall. cant complain too much though seeing as i only paid 50 bucks for a WORKING 630i. i only use for surfing anyway. merry christmas to all and a happy new year!

i finally used ccleaner and cleared out performance, update, and system monitor. clear just fine. went ahead with the oct '08 version of 6.03. now it locks up when i create more than 1 policy. and also will not load profile at all. i still have to manually load the profile i want at system start.
even so, i still love this machine.---happy new new year everyone!

About the only thing that performance is good for is changing light colors and case and cpu fan speed. Don't try to use it for anything else. It will only cause you a headache. Unless your going to update the MIO firmware, you don't need update, and I think the monitor program is junk.
