Hey guys! I've got the old stock CPU cooler for my old Q6600, are there any other CPU coolers that I can use? NEED HELP ASAP!

There are tons of options out there: Here are a couple of my picks:

Just make sure you have a case big enough and no ram confilcts as these are big coolers ;) If you do some searching just make sure they are compatable with LGA 775 socket to start with...and many still are :cool:

That is AWSOME! Thank you for the reply. I use the Cooler Master Hyper EVO 212 to my own case. I'm building a computer of my old 630i components for my brother and I don't like the old stock CPU fan. So as long as the coolers are compatable with LGA 775 and I'm good to go?

Yes, need to make sure they are 775 compatable and not too big...which usually depends on the case you are using ;)

That's what I was going to recommend over the Hyper 212 Plus (as good as it is!) due to improved contact between the heat pipes and the CPU.

i swapped the cooling for a Scythe Ninja Plus Rev.B, i had this on my Opteron 180, the only thing i had to do was to swap the bracket attached on it (S939 to LGA775), and it seem to get very good low temps from the cores!
