Hey i recently upgraded my 630 from vista 32bit to win 7 32bit and now I'm having trouble finding the right software for my soundcard.

I have the same soundcard that came with the computer, should be a X-Fi xtremegamer.

The drivers linked on dell's website were only for windows vista so I tried downloading the drivers for x-fi xtremegamer on creative.com

But when I run the installation it says it's unable to detect a product supported on my system.

Any clues anyone?

If your card shows up in Windows Device Manager as "working", you could try powering down and reseating the card and see if that helps. You could also try cleaning out your old drivers with DriverSweeper and reinstalling whichever drivers others here recommend for your card (I trust someone here with your card will add their suggestion(s):

Failing those, it's just possible that your X-Fi XtremeGamer has died..?

Thanks for your reply but I found out that there just was and issue with that version of the creative drivers and win 7. There was another version for win7 found on their site that worked just fine :)
