 Post subject: temp reading question

is the 352 degree f reading in the system monitor something i should be concerned about? i know i need to do bios update, but does that have a relationship? my current bios is working fine for what i do. thank you in advance.

That temperature is not accurate. A temperature of 352F is approximately 177C, which would melt anything inside your case.

The sensor is probably bad/broken. Updating the BIOS may help, but I wouldn't know for sure. Could also be a software issue not reporting temperature correctly.

went ahead with bios update to 1.0.13. no hangups. temp reading is gone, just as i expected from reading other posts. i am a serious noob, so i was really apprehensive. but turns out no problem
