Just curious to find out if anyone else has had problems monitoring GPU stats dependent on Rivatuner, since installing the new 301.24 beta drivers?

The various GPU meters I have tried no longer detect the GTX460 in my system, although both MSI Afterburner & EVGA Precision do register everything correctly as does GPU-Z 3.

Rivatuner still indicates previous driver version i.e. 296.xx while Nvidia Control Panel is showing 301.24.

Would welcome any input.

Ok, problem resolved, just needed to reboot a couple of times and Rivatuner picked up the new drivers. My sidebar gadgets followed suit.

BTW do I still need Rivatuner if I also run Afterburner? :?

My limited understanding is that Afterburner cannot provide values for CPU monitoring but I am not aware of a newer/better application that can do this in addition to GPU monitoring.

There is no harm in keeping both programs. One may have functions you like/need that the other does not.
