When i turn the pc on in the morning the BIOS settings have changed to something i had a while ago, the pc can not boot and i have to go into the BIOS and set the correct settings.

Is the battery dead or is something else at fault ?

Does the ESA board do something with the settings in the nvidia software maybe ?

Could be the battery but, yes, the nVidia control center will definitely mess with the BIOS settings in the 630.
