Im curious, are we able to take out the Auroras water cooling system and use it on a different motherboard/case. I was testing the different fan/power connections inside the Aurora. Its odd, If I leave it stock, Thermal Controls will monitor the flow but I cannot manually set the fan. If I move the connection to the CPU Fan connection, Thermal Control wont monitor flow, but I can control the fan...seems almost half ass backwards. I guess the extra fan connection is if you add an additional fan to the radiator.

I just want to make sure , before I rip this thing apart that I can reuse the watercooler. Since Dell refused to send me a ATX and gave me a Micro ATX, I decided to buy an EVGA 3x SLI board. I got it damn cheep to, B Stock during one of there sales...$99. Im just going to stick everything back in my Antec 902.

The fan connection that the pump uses looks like some odd 6 pin thing, but it really only uses 4+ a jumper to another(uses 5 pins).

You should be able to. The cooling unit in the Aurora/Area 51 is nothing more than a Corsair H50 with the Alienware head on the block.

BTW, If you plan to get rid of that Aurora Shell....let me know, I might want to buy it.

We will see. lol I just got a call and they might just be refunding my money instead of trying to figure out how to get me a rig with a full atx lol. If it doesnt go that way, sure thing, I wont have any use for it

Well, hopefully they can get you the refund, because it didnt work for me... I asked countless times after all I had been through with my laptop, and they told me they only refund within 21 days of original purchase.

Let us know what happens.
