Actually - your report makes me fume! But I don't know what else to do besides laugh - the other options are not near as pretty . . .

Very true.

Well I have been reading on the dell forums and ati website, and I am not the only one having issues with displayport audio. Apparently its an issue with ati's drivers. Hopefully in the later release of drivers they will fix it.

It's not a Dell if it does not have at least 1 glitch but I hope everything will work out. Now it's time for a sleeve murder-mod...maybe :?: I just know you're going to do a window mod...right :?:

Eventually. It definitely needs one.......in this case 2 actually. Because both sides of the case are accessible. The left side is the "main cabin", and the right side is the HDD bays.

Once I get enough time on my hands, and come up with a nice idea, I will probably do it.

The Area 51's MIO board, could you confirm that the thing's connected to the mobo via standard USB for controll and that the power for the lights/fans/vents is from a 10 pin proprietry power connector from the PSU.

Trying to lend a hand with a guy posting over on RSF trying to decide to buy or not (some pics would be perfect is poss). :D

I am out of town right now, so I can't post up any pics...but I can definitely say there is a 10 pin connector for the power connection to the mio board and a usb connection to the motherboard.

Even then... the mio board doesn't function properly at all unless the stock board is used. So honestly the psu and mobo can't be upgraded unless the user doesn't mind losing mio board functionality and control for lighting, vents, fans, etc.
