I was initally considering purchasing a xps 630, however, I just found an xps 730 for sale in the same price range and am wondering what you guys think?

It comes with a XQ9650 Quad Core CPU running at 3mhz, 4 BG of patriot 1333mhz memory, 2 300gb hard drives, an ATI Fire GL V7300 graphics card (that I will end up selling and purchasing a gaming card instead), and the motherboard is a dell model # - uu795. I did try to search for the specs of that dell motherboard, but couldnt find nothing. Any one know the specs for that mobo? And do you think this will be a good deal for $950?

Thanks!

Looks like a good deal to me. A lot cheaper that Dell's outlet. Is it used? Just wondering. Here's a link to the manuals from dell's site. http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/s ... /index.htm

I believe it was a refurb....but from the pics he sent me, it still has the shrink wrap on the sides and it looks practically new...he was it was prime 95 test and is in excellent condition....the only thing i have issues with is that graphics card thats made more for CAD and 3d modeling than gaming, but i will find me a good card setup on ebay.

By the way, it comes pre loaded with 64-bit vista premium, but no cd....:(

other than those 2 drawbacks....its looks like a good deal to me so far

Hmm; I think (emphasis on think) that you should be able to get a 64-bit DVD from Dell.

Yes. Maybe. I hope he leaves the MS windows sticker on the back of the case.
