Just trying to see if I have a faulty H2C. When I got the system it was in bad shape. Also I tried to get a replacement but Dell would send me the same config for the price I got it for. So I decide to keep the thing. Now looking at everything who ever own this before me didn't keep this in good shape. My H2C ran fine for a couple of days and then things started to get bad. Just to let you know my room temp is about 65F to 68F and at first the CPU Temp on my E8400 OC @ 3.5 was core0 - 22C and core1 35C because affinity at idle and at load 42C - 45C across playing crysis. Now the cores are core0 42C and core1 45C idle and at load 50C - 56C across playing crysis. The reason I bought the H2C due to the fact it was stated by Dell it would keep the temp super chilled. I guess I will be calling Dell to get a replacement.

Parts have been delayed. Now going on 5 days and no real answer to when the parts going to get here. I think this will be the last systsem I'll buy from Dell. The case is awesome so I can use it for many years to come. Just up grade as I go. Hope the parts show up on Monday. I tried to get a upgrade to the i7 but no luck. Maybe if they don't get the parts to me I might have a shot at the upgrade. This time I will be talking to a manager and give him h-ll until I get what I want. So much for next day service. Dell you just lost a customer.

Stuck with a dead 730 still. Dell's dispatch sent out wrong MOBO. To make things even worst I never received rest of the parts. Now I will have wait another two days before they can have the parts ready for shipping. Great! Anyone know how I can't get in touch with the bigger heads of Dell?

I would honestly call them again and ask to speak to a supervisor. I had an issue with them too for my XPS m1730 Laptop that they were not fixing. I sent it in 3 times(return to depot warranty) with no fix. After i called up for the 4th time i asked for a supervisor and told him about the problems i have had and everything was straightened out. After a month and a half though. Lol. But yea i would definitely try to speak to a supervisor.

I talked with a manager there and he said they were sorry and I told him that wasn't enough for the lost time and money. I do allot of video and graphics for customers on budgets and now being without a system I have lost allot of business so I asked what are you going to do for me for my lost time. He said nothing because they are just tech support. Good thing is I paid the extra to talk to a American tech support. So told me to talk to the service agents and that was nothing but a nightmare. They pretty much told me we don't care about you or your business. Dell will be short $3 Million this year from me and I'm sure that I won't be the only one that's going stop buying from Dell. This kind of crappy business is why Dell Shares are dropping to the competitors. So much for Dell. This is and will be that last I will buy from Dell. The last Three systems I have bought from came in really crappy condition and at that time I was not aware that I could pay extra to talk to a American support. They told me a tech will be here at my house to day. So now I play the waiting game.

O.K. here is a update. The tech guy came today and we replaced all the parts that Dell decide to replace. After getting everything in and hooked up we plug the power cord into the psu and we hear this load beeeeeeeeeeeep. Not a good sound. So looking at everything nothing looked out of place. So now both of us are dumb found and now the tech is really unhappy with Dell. So after he left he ended up call Dell Tech Direct to tell them what was up. I guess the supervisor for the tech was misinformed of my problems and was really sorry about the whole miss. So now they will be sending me a replacement. I told the tech guy who came over today to request for a upgrade model with the works and he agreed with me since I went the whole month trying to get a replacement know that they had sent me a lemon. I forgot to ask him if that agreed to send the best of the best. Of course that won't happen, but the good thing is that he had no trouble getting them to send out a replacement. Hopefully this 730 will be in much better like new condition shape instead of the used look like someone pulled the 730 out of a garage collecting dust spiders and so on. Hopefully the will upgrade the replacement to a 730x. I hear good things about the i7 series so I want to test it for myself. Next week I will be getting the replacement. Crossing my fingers. :?:

It's sounds hopeful--I trust they will indeed be able to get things taken care of properly!

OK just received a call from Dell. :D They sent me some really good news. This has pretty much changed my mind about Dell. Just you can see why I will be posting my old 730 specs to my new 730X :o You will all be surprised like I was. Only bad part is that I will be getting a pair of ATI 4850. I'm not much of a fan of ATI. So for the show here we go.
