Just completed a clean install of WIN7 Ultimate 64 Bit on my XPS 630i. Very smooth installation ... with some minor exceptions.

Namely - I am unable to get the Dell Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard & Mouse Bundle (Logitech) to function properly. It's the special keys that aren't working. For example, the volume dial and buttons aren't working and there is no on screen display.

I've tried installing the VISTA 64-BIT bundle from the Dell site but it doesn't seem to work.

Any ideas on what to try next?

Thanks,
Herb...

If you know by chance which Logitech Keyboard Mouse it is you can use the Logitech Drivers which are much more stable then Dells. Post a picture of your Keyboard and I'm sure we can help you better.

From what I could tell. Logitech uses the same driver file for all their K+M combo's. Right now it is the SetPoint 4.80. So you can pretty much download the driver from and K+M combo. Go here ( http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/433/3 ... en?osid=14 ) and download it see it that helps. Don't mind the picture, like I said same driver file for all the K+M combo's.

Fantastic! This solved the problem! The Logitech Setpoint are the solution. The keyboard and mouse work perfectly.

Thanks for this.

Dell really should have had this file listed in their Download section - shame on them.

This was mine (As shown above) Only thing different in the photo is with the Bluetooth. I didn't need the Dell BT Dongle. Mine is built into the card reader.

Anyhow, it donned on me while I was browsing the site, back when I was setting up my Dell BT Keyboard and Mouse (RAQ-DEL2 / GM952) , that the Resource Collective is out of date and the one Logitech Link in this thread is a little old as well.

This driver will work and is the latest Driver Download available for Windows 7:

http://www.logitech.com/en-us/support/3 ... =14&bit=64

On Logitech's website, it shows as the driver for "Cordless Destop EX-90" Don't let that throw you as it works just fine.

Don't even bother with the Dell site. Skip it and go straight to Logitechs site. Quick, painless and most of all, it works.

Just trying to pay some things forward and keep stuff updated.

Thanks for the info--this has been added as a new "Dell Bluetooth keyboard and mouse driver" to the Resource Collective's "Drivers and firmware" page, with a link to this post so users can get some context and additional info before downloading.
