You should Google the issue, but my first idea is to check to see if the service is setup properly.

So click on Start, then right click on My Computer icon, then click on Manage, then click the + on Services and Applications, and click on Services, and scroll down to System Restore Services and make sure that it is set to Automatic. If not, right click and view it's properties to set it back to auto. May have been disabled by some sort of "performance enhancing" software...

Maybe some others have some more ideas, but I'd start there.

Thanks, however, when I went to Services and Applications, I have NO system restore in the listing to turn back on. Any other thoughts?
