As good as the default drivers are for Win 7, I would check for Win 7 64-bit specific drivers for all your hardware (including items like printer, battery backup device, etc.), and install those after running the critical and recommended Windows 7 updates. I can't speak to the nForce issue (it's been a while now), but most, if not all, hardware for your system should have Win 7 64-bit drivers available.
