Hi All,

I’m a new old member returning from a long winters nap. My 63i was running well on Vista but my office and others were on W-7 64. So I recently installed W-7 64 OEM as a clean install and life was good. Weeks and weeks later I notices the sound on explorer, firefox and chrome was not working well. It sometimes goes up and down with sound (mostly a hum that muffles the sound), no sound at all or it will run fine. DVD/Blue burner works fine and all other sounds as I can see. I have compleatly removed flash and reinstalled new. Does anyone have any ideas? I’m afraid I will have to do a new install on W-7. Thanks, Tom

A quick try would be new audio drivers and/or a speaker set.
