I used to leave my setting to boot from dvd drive first. Never had any problem skipping right by press any key to boot . Now after installing 2 more case fans when it gets to press any key unless there is a bootable disk in the drive in gives the message missing OS. I leave it set to boot from dvd so I can use ms defender offline without having to go into settings every time. when i change settings to boot from hdd it has no problems. any ideals from anyone as to whats going on?

Hmm; no idea as to why that is--have you tried contacting ASRock support?

You're probably already using the latest UEFI version for your mobo, so that shouldn't be an issue...
