well, I did the win 10 upgrade from win 7 pro. I liked it but my 630i didn't. it kept randomly freezing and then rebooting without warning. so I unistalled 10 and went back to 7 pro. anyone else have issues with win 10?

I have a coworker who had nothing but trouble with Win10, and has now also happily reverted to Win 7 Pro.

I won't touch Windows 10 with a 10-foot pole...Microsoft has serious attitude issues affecting its design and overall philosophy that aren't going away anytime soon:

You are always hearing about how many upgrades MS has downloaded . I wonder how many of those have been reverted ? I had put in on my computer but went bak to 7. I also put it on my laptop which was running 8.1 and i do like it better their except i use ie11 instead of edge . My laptop is used mainly as a cookbook to store my recipes stream a few movies when not near my main computer and of coarse on vacations and trips (better than a smart phone). Glad to see that this site still gets a few post from time to time . Although when i do check for new ones their are usually a few people showing up in the browsing section. Later D.

Well, I did upgrade to 10 on my main computer, but it was running 8.1 and is quit a bit newer than my 630i. It is currently running 64 bit windows 7 ultimate. I think I will leave it as is for as long as possible as I really don't want to confuse the wife too much since that is the PC that she uses. So far, I don't really have any issues with windows 10 except for windows update. But I think most home users of windows 10 don't know or don't care.

I have win 10 on my rig at home and it works like a dream. it also was running 8.1.
it's running the i5 4440. very nice for the price. (about 550.00 a year ago.) too bad the 630 didn't like it.
