I've been coming here for awhile and soaking up the knowledge and i was surprised to see some of your names on Snipers-r-us.net. So how many people here play Wars?

It's always a blast--we played last night, and you're more than welcome to join the gang whenever you get a chance. devjonfos usually sends out a PM when the next round of mayhem is scheduled. :)

I'm planning on grilling out tonight (hamburgers) and we'll have company over, but I'll try and jump in for a few matches and show off my monster of a system! ;)

I'll tell you all the ones I know about:

Left side of the map:

* a nuke gun is in the, erm, "bowl" of the outhouse just off to the right of the hut against the side of the hill (the one with the anti-aircraft vehicle underneath)

Middle part of the map:

* I believe there's one at the bottom of the waterfall, further back into the map--somewhere around there, anyway--dev knows exactly where it is

Right side of the map:

* in the top-most "eagle's nest" base with the VTOL and the long walkway out into nowhere, the nuke is at the very end of the walkway

* in the "eagle's nest" base right below the top-most one, inside the metal container is another nuke

...now, if we played the official map that comes with Crysis Wars (the one where everything blows up), the central/main large building has a hidden nuke that's only available when you blow most of the building up.

I hope that helps!

Recently I've been a bit nostalgic. I've been remembering the good 'ol times when I was in high school and use to play Medal of Honor MP with people I knew online and offline. Fantastic times and we chatted it up on teamspeak.

Anyways, I knew there was a Crysis section here where ya'll talk 'bout MP so I finally bit the bullet and purchased Crysis Maximum Edition on Amazon for $31.

Delivery estimate: August 21, 2009.

I would be a total n00b so all the more reason to find some friends to play with. Interested? I use to be the #1 player on MoH - no joke. Kinda/Sorta.

I use Trillian for AIM, Google, & WLM/MSN.

It looks like the delivery will be just in time for our Saturday Wars session on the 22nd of August.

When you get the delivery, check out http://snipers-r-us.net for Maps and Instructions.

Some of us use TeamSpeak and I also run a server at the same address (24.21.226.71).

PM me with a username and password that you would like to use and I'll set up an account for you.

Got it installed. Scoped it out some, created an account...still had my Gamespy account from the days of MoH....hahaha...maybe I'll play with the SP in Crysis a bit to get a feel for the game.

Count me in for Saturday. I'll check out those maps (except for those massive tournament map packs) on your website. Just give me the time (EST) for Saturday.

I think it'll be best to hold off on TeamSpeak until I can get used to the game's mechanics...and for the fact that it's a demanding game...hopefully my computer won't explode. Also, I have a tiny mic and I'll probably have to set it up or something.

I'll be able to play for an hour or so, but that's it--I got intercepted for a dinner at a coworker's house. :(

If yall are playing this Saturday i might be able to sort out some time to be a moving target for yall. Devjonfos - have you tried setting up the mapdownloader for you server? Alot of those maps i have on our server and if ya want i can provide the download hotlinks and map hosting.. just need to make sure the map your running in your server and levelrotation.xml file is the same as the download server.

I've checked into the map auto-downloader...but there is not enough patronage of the server to warrant it and I do make the maps known via the website and downloadable via the website's /Downloads directory.

So far, the Saturday session is scheduled to start at 12 noon West coast time, 3 pm East coast time, and 8 pm UK time. We usually go for several hours, but it depends on who shows up and how long they want to play. We usually play a couple of maps, then take a break, and then start again.

The map rotation will be as listed on the website, but I will load the AirHell map manually if there is a consensus from those playing.
