I know a lot of screenies have been posted arround the forum, just thought I'd start a thread to keep them in one place - easier to find - :D

So to start, pulled an all night gameing session last night and managed to slot "devious jon fossil-sneaky sneakerson" Yeah! It don't happen often.

LOL! Here's one of BBF preparing to snipe before he uh, well, you get the idea... :) dev (a.k.a. Grytpype-Thynne) was in his prime last night, sending both BBF and myself to our respective respawn points too many times to count. ;)

And for those interested, devjonfos' full title:

Woah--great screen shots! You always do a nice job with variety, too. I've never seen that double-spawning APC; amazing! The last King of the Hill map we played though had an APC that was continually on fire (flame on the ground).

BTW, for those wanting to join the snipers-r-us action: beware of a player by the name of Maximus! He's as fast as a greyhound, and as deadly as a cobra on steroids. And I thought devjonfos and BBF were deadly...

Greg,

I thought we did very well against Maximus, he only beat us 57-15

That double APC respawn was weird and it continued on for several minutes. It was like the ultimate APC crab battle. The only thing I can remember that may have caused it was that I jumped from the second tier, landed on the APC in such a way that it instantly put me into the drivers seat. I then drove off down to the Helo bulding and hopped out. Then BBF noticed later that the APCs were having their crab battle.

lol

dev: I've noticed that when the chopper explodes on top of the building, the debris seems to "keep falling" and almost 'walk' around the surrounding area.

bbf: Goodness, yes! Maximus gave us a whupping I won't easily forget. ;) Problem is, even hiding somewhere cloaked isn't necessarily safe--he'll still find you. Now I know where dev got his bloodhound training from. ;)

Here are some visuals from recent games:

cheeky_frogs (they just don't like me that's all)
psst_behind_you (dev taught me this trick)
free_falling_fears (not what I like to see after I eject from my VTOL)
lying_down_on_the_job (no, BBF's not ignoring me intentionally, I assure you)

Seabass welcome! We always need more players. We will look forward to seeing you this weekend. PM us or look for us at "snipers-r-us.net" password "630i". You'll need the latest patch and two maps: King of the Hill and Harbor War. You can get those at http://snipers-r-us.net/Downloads/Crysis.

Excellent! The more the merrier, I always say. :) ...and don't worry--I suspect you'll be able to hold your own quite well.

Well considering I haven't really played an pc FPS in a good couple years it's going to take some getting used to haha.

Oh also, do you guys use mics to talk online or simply chat? Because if so i need to figure out how to setup my mic since it didnt work with Crysis.

We usually just chat, devjonfos does have a teamspeak server set up but TBH it all became a little awkward so we've reverted to the in game text chatting, still works quite well.

We've experimented with the VoIP in-game, but we have also used TeamSpeak which has better voice quality, but requires a separate download, installation, and configuration. So you might want to hook up a mic and try the in-game VoIP, first, and see if you like it before delving into TeamSpeak.

My personal experience is similar to what BBF said...we tried it, it worked, but it became cumbersome and distracting, so we reverted to texting with the "Y" key.
