 Post subject: Turning my 630i into a freenas box

Just starting the project with 3 500gb seagate drives.
I am having a hard time getting the bios (vers 1.0.5) to boot from a USB 8gb flash drive.
Does anyone have any advise as to what I can do to make this happen.

You could try to update the BIOS to 1.0.13 and see if that makes a difference, seeing as there are a bunch of fixes and improvement in it since 1.0.5 (at least one USB fix included)--you can see the list of changes here:
