 Post subject: Help with: Verifying DMI pool data . . .

So on boot with my new Gigabyte motherboard, when I get to the Verifying DMI pool data part of the POST, it takes forever . . .

I have disabled all boot options except the hardrive . . . have checked all the cables . . . any other suggestions?

Update: it is a BIOS issue with the latest BIOS for this board and AHCI boot drive . . .

Hehehe.....the Giga boards are Doc's specialty. LOL.

I was just now reading this and was going to suggest a BIOS update. I remember this happening with an old LGA775 board with the intel 965 chipset.
