Hi all

Having problems with the BSOD, specificially there is no error message. I don have a problem gaming but when I try to watch any kind of media file regardless of what app I use (currently using VLC) I get the BSOD but without any diagnostic error line simply "an error has occured.........please call your hardware vendor for support"

Ive checked my ram 2 x2gb ocz2P800 and its come up clean increased virtual memory as per the FAQ section and taken care of BIOS firmware driver updates etc. Am at my wits end any advice appreciated.

EJ

Are all your drivers and software up to date? That's about all I can think of with no other info.

One of the things you can try is removing hardware, one item at a time, and see if the BSODs stop when a certain item is removed. If so, then you know where to focus - either a hardware or driver problem for that item. Don't forget hardware includes memory sticks.
