I'm getting ready to install Win7 and would like to get rid of the small EISA partition and the 10gb Recovery partition on my C: drive. In Disk Management, they both show up to the left of the OS (C:) partition. Can I accomplish this in Disk Management, or am I going to have to format C: and reinstall?

Or, if I delete the two smaller partitions during the Win7 install, how do I get the C: drive to expand to include the new space?

It should let you delete the partitions, and then combine or "expand" the partition into one. But i would back up the recovery partition just in case you need it in the future.

I havent tried this on Vista or Windows 7, so i cant say it will work for sure. But it should. If worse comes to worse, just reformat the drive completely.

If disk management doesnt allow you to merge the partitions, I think there are some programs that can do this for you. Maybe Acronis or another Disk Utility.

Disk Management wouldn't do it... the expand options were grayed out. I'll probably give a third-party program a try.
Thanks for the response.
