Im gona need to reformat my computer after a serious virus.

i was wondering if Dell gave the OS (vista 32 bit) backup recovery disks.

Does Vista 32bit allow making the recovery disk in safe mod?

Any recommendations on what i should do?

So, are you saying you didn't get any discs or what? I don't know if mine says recovery disc, but it was the vista 32 that was installed and I received it with that and xp, since I upgraded from xp to vista. If your going to reformat, just set your bios to boot from whatever optical drive you use, and follow onscreen directions. I don't know why you would need safe mode if your reformatting. Sorry, just noticed you were referencing recovery discs. Ummm...not sure about those. Don't use them. I usually just get fed up enought to just reformat, but I haven't had those issues in awhile. Sorry.

Kevin
