when i get an email notification it give you 4 options;

1. If you want to view the newest post made since your last visit, click the following link:
viewtopic.php?f=4&t=2782&p=20638&e=20638

2. If you want to view the topic, click the following link:
viewtopic.php?f=4&t=2782

3. If you want to view the forum, click the following link:
viewforum.php?f=4

4. If you no longer wish to watch this topic you can either click the "Unsubscribe topic" link found at the bottom of the topic above, or by clicking the following link:

viewtopic.php?uid=79&f=4&t=2782&unwatch=topic

when i click option 1 it still goes to the FIRST page of the thread regardless how many pages there are in it. it should go to the last page or at least the last/newest post made.

Do i have something set wrong in the user control panel?
it also does the same thing when you hit refresh or F5, if you're on the last page it'll take you back to the first page then you have to click next or click on the last page of the thread to get there.

how can i change this, it's finally got to the point that's it's quite irritating.

thanx much guys!

Mr. Scary -

This is a known issue and the attempts I have made to fix it have not been successful. I am going to have to "take the engine apart" to try and fix the problem - my "other" job and family have kept me from the rebuild.

I will move this issue to the top of the list and see if I can't come up with a solution or a work around . . .

Sorry to all who are having trouble with this . . .

David
